The Arrowhead Cabin

Nestled in the trees of Lake Arrowhead sits a 4-family shared cabin tucked away in the beautiful trees of Lake Arrowhead. It's a space that was specifically designed to create multi-generational family memories, with a focus on both functionality and pure enjoyment.

And now, as we bid adieu to 2022, we wanted to take a moment to showcase this stunning cabin and share its heartwarming story.

When our close pals approached us to help them design their new family cabin's kitchen and living areas, we were excited to create a cozy and inviting space. With multiple family members contributing their ideas to the design, we knew we had to accommodate everyone's needs. That meant a window sitting area for grandma, an entertainment area for the uncle, and a kitchen that would become the heart of the home for the entire family.

As soon as we set foot in the cabin, we knew we had to say goodbye to the old, outdated kitchen. Our main goal was to open up the space and make it more functional, so we opted for floating shelving instead of upper cabinets. Not only did this make the kitchen feel larger, but it also allowed for a showcase of the family's favorite kitchen items. The island and lower cabinets provide plenty of storage; the island even had room for 5-6 people to sit and gather around. And we can't forget to mention the coffee bar nook - a feature the owners rave about and the whole family adores.

But we continued beyond functionality - we also wanted to make sure that the aesthetic elements of the kitchen were on point. The family loves the color of the space, a lovely grey/green that brings in the beauty of the outdoors. We added natural elements like leather and wood to keep the cabin vibe alive, while the plaid accents keep it feeling rustic yet modern. There's no gloominess here - this cabin is all about bright, cheerful vibes!

We're thrilled that this cozy cabin kitchen will continue bringing our friends and their family together for many years. And if you're in the market for designing your vacation home, don't hesitate to call Elevation Avenue. We'd love to help you create a space for making memories!
