The Village, Coto De Caza

A true craftsman style home that oozes character and moderization!

I'm thrilled to share my latest project at Coyote Kitchen, located in the picturesque Village of Coto De Caza. This home is a gem straight out of a storybook – a craftsman style that oozes character and potential. My vision led me to move the stove top from the center island to the side wall, creating an open, spacious area that's perfect for both everyday cooking and entertaining. I also relocated the refrigerator, surrounding it with a custom-built cabinet that not only looks great but is super functional, offering easy access to snacks for kids on the go.

Then, I tackled the corner wall double oven. It was replaced with a custom pantry, complete with four deep drawers, a quartz countertop, and two white oak floating shelves – an ideal setup for a highly functional pantry. I mean, who doesn't love a stylish and practical pantry, right? Throughout the kitchen, we custom-built flat panel white oak lower cabinets and thin-rimmed shaker doors above. This design strikes the perfect balance between a bright, white feel and the warming, natural tones of white oak.

It was all about blending the current needs and style preferences of the homeowners - who love white and bright - while staying true to the home's original craftsman character and incorporating warm natural elements. We are proud to say we preserved the essence of this beautiful craftsman style house while infusing it with a mew fresh, modern vibe.
